A method is provided for estimating or predicting, a priori, the incidence or degree of biological reaction by an individual in a population of interest when exposed to a chemical or biological agent of interest in vivo. The method uses a combination of data from in vitro experiments using the agent of interest, from in vitro experiments using a reference agent, and data obtained regarding the incidence or degree of the in vivo effects of the reference agent. |
