abstract | The invention relates to the use of N, N-butylacetamide as extractant for extracting at least one rare earth from an aqueous acidic phase. It also relates to a liquid-liquid extraction process of at least one rare earth of an acidic aqueous phase, which comprises at least a contacting of the acidic aqueous phase with an organic phase immiscible with water and comprising at least one extractant and then a separation of the acidic aqueous phase from the organic phase, and which is characterized in that the extractant is N, N -dibutylacetamide. It also relates to a process for recovering at least one rare earth from an acidic aqueous phase, which implements this extraction process. Applications: production of rare earths from concentrates of natural or urban ores and, in particular, recycling rare earths contained in the Neodymium-Iron-Boron permanent magnets, used or discarded. |
