titleOfInvention Clean venturi aspiration
abstract The invention relates to an exchange insert (1) for an ophthalmic medical device (99) for the aspiration of liquid. For example, for removing liquid in the context of a suction rinse in an ophthalmic surgical procedure such as a cataract operation. According to the invention, this takes place with a liquid region (10) for receiving the liquid to be suctioned off and a negative pressure region (20), which can be acted upon by a negative pressure. In this case, the liquid region (10) and the negative pressure region (20) are hermetically separated from each other by an at least partially flexible membrane (13).
