abstract |
The invention relates to an exchange insert (1) for an ophthalmic medical device (99) for the aspiration of liquid. For example, for removing liquid in the context of a suction rinse in an ophthalmic surgical procedure such as a cataract operation. According to the invention, this takes place with a liquid region (10) for receiving the liquid to be suctioned off and a negative pressure region (20), which can be acted upon by a negative pressure. In this case, the liquid region (10) and the negative pressure region (20) are hermetically separated from each other by an at least partially flexible membrane (13). |
