titleOfInvention | Retention time standard |
abstract | The invention relates to a composition as well as a polypeptide comprising at least 8 reference peptides (R-peptides) selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 1 - 27 and variants thereof, wherein at least one R-peptide is selected from each group comprising group 2 consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 3 - 5 and variants thereof, group 3 consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 6 - 8 and variants thereof, group 4 consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 9 - 11 and variants thereof, group 5 consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 12 - 18 and variants thereof, and group 6 consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 19 - 23 and variants thereof, wherein each variant differs from the original peptide in 30 % or less of the amino acids. The invention further relates to the use of the at least 8 reference peptides for reverse-phase liquid chromatography and selected reaction monitoring. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for monitoring reverse-phase chromatography, comprising the steps providing the at least 8 reference peptides, applying the R-peptides to a chromatography column, and determining the retention time of each peptide. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for estimating a retention time of a target peptide during a liquid chromatography run. |
