The invention relates to a method for synthesising a polymer having one or more pendant hydroxyaryl groups comprising the reaction of a polymer having at least one epoxide function with a nucleophilic compound which simultaneously has the hydroxyaryl group and a nucleophilic function selected from the group made up of the phosphonic acid function and the ionic form thereof. The invention also relates to the polymer, in particular an elastomer, obtained using said method, as well as to a rubber composition containing same. |
