abstract The invention relates to an orthodontic device (1) which is particularly economical and as small as possible, and which has hooks (6) and a small tube (5), produced from a sheet metal plate using stamping and bending techniques and without the use of welding or soldering. The orthodontic device comprises a base plate (2) having a flat region (2λ) with a gingival (3) and an occlusal edge (24). An occlusal rolling (7) forms the small tube (5). The gingival edge (3) has a counter-directional rolling (8). Concave cuts (14) are formed in the side edges (9) in order to form wing-shaped hooks (6). Both rollings (7, 8) can hold an applicator/protector (20), with which the orthodontic device is protected during adhesion, and can then be applied to a tooth in the correct orientation.
