abstract The invention relates to a method for removing interfering constituents from a sample of biological origin to be examined. Areas of application are the food industry, the animal feed industry or biotechnology.n n n In the inventive method for preparing the analysis of samples of biological origin, the biological sample is taken in a buffer system with pH 7 -10, then existing interfering substances are precipitated with polyvalent metal ions of the lanthanide group, the precipitate is separated, excess polyvalent metal ions separated by precipitation and the supernatant analyzed.
