abstract |
In the process of production of a sugar liquid from woody biomass, conventional techniques have a drawback in that particular components contained in the saccharified liquid of the woody biomass cause deterioration of the filtration performance during filtration of the saccharified liquid through a microfiltration membrane and/or ultrafiltration membrane. In the present invention, mannanase is reacted with a liquid component obtained by hydrolysis of woody biomass to increase the filtration performance of the microfiltration membrane and/or ultrafiltration membrane for the saccharified liquid, so that efficient production of a sugar liquid is possible. |
