The invention relates to a device for the stimulation of neurones, said device comprising: - a non-invasive stimulation unit for generating stimuli in a plurality of stimulation channels, wherein the stimulation unit is designed in such a manner that the stimuli stimulate a neurone population in the brain and/or spinal cord of a patient in different locations in each case via the stimulation channels; and - a control unit which controls the stimulation unit in such a manner that the stimulation unit generates repetitive bursts in each of the stimulation channels, each of the bursts comprising multiple stimuli, wherein the bursts are designed in such a manner that they do not reset the phase of the neuronal activity of the respective stimulated neurones. |
