A cleaning system and method uses a tank (102) holding a fluid detergent (104) and an equipment assembly (200) formed from a plurality of discrete components joined together. One or more ultrasound transducers remove one or more deposits on the equipment assembly (200) by generating and propagating high frequency ultrasound waves into the fluid detergent (104) while the equipment assembly (200) is in contact with the fluid detergent (104). |
