titleOfInvention Medical pump with hose clamp holder, hose clamp, and system comprising both
abstract A medical pump (40; 40') according to the invention, in particular an infusion pump, for conveying a medium, has a holder (42; 42') for a hose clamp (2; 2') according to the invention, which hose clamp (2; 2') is separate from the pump (40; 40') and mounted on the hose. Two clamp portions (4 and 6; 4' and 6'), movable relative to each other, of the hose clamp (2; 2') can be brought into a closed relative position in relation to each other in which position they clamp the hose arranged between them in such a way that no medium is able to flow through the interior of the hose. Moreover, the clamp portions (4 and 6; 4' and 6') can be brought into an opened relative position in relation to each other in which position the hose arranged between the clamp portions (4 and 6; 4' and 6') is not clamped, and therefore medium is able to flow through the interior of the hose. The pump (40; 40') according to the invention is characterized in that a sensor (26; 54) is arranged on it, in particular in the holder (42; 42') for the hose clamp (2; 2'), and, when the hose clamp (2; 2') is received in the holder (42; 42'), the sensor (26; 54) at least detects whether the clamp portions (4 and 6; 4' and 6') thereof are located in the closed or the opened relative position.
