titleOfInvention | Testing device for examining a food for an analyte and test strips intended therefor |
abstract | The invention relates to a testing device (10) for examining a food for an analyte, which testing device has an accommodating space for the sample of the food to be examined and a reservoir, which contains a running buffer. The testing device (10) is designed to comminute the sample accommodated in the accommodating space and to mix said sample with the running buffer. Furthermore, a holder for a test strip is provided, on which test strip an optically detectable signal is produced in the manner of a lateral flow assay, which signal indicates whether the analyte can be detected in the sample. The testing device is also designed to dispense the liquid sample that has been comminuted and mixed with the running buffer onto the test strip. |
