abstract | The invention relates to a photovoltaic device, intended to convert into electricity incident radiation φ1 with a wavelength λ1 of between 280 and 1000 nm, comprising (i) an assembly comprising a glass sheet having two main faces f1 and f2 the face f1 being the one through which the incident radiation enters said assembly and said sheet being transparent to said incident radiation φ1; and a functional layer covering the main surface f2 of the sheet and comprising a matrix in which luminescent elements are dispersed capable of absorbing said incident radiation φ1 of wavelength λ1 and of retransmitting it with a wavelength λ2 greater than λ1 and between 800 and 1400 nm; and (ii) at least one photovoltaic cell on which the re-emitted radiation of wavelength λ2 arrives and which is sensitive to the wavelength λ2. In this device, the glass sheet has an absorption coefficient at the wavelength λ2 of less than 3 m -1 . Such a device finds an application in the recovery of solar energy in the building field. |
