abstract | A hard surface cleaning composition comprising: na) a microcapsule comprising: ni) a perfume contained within; nii) a polymer shell; and fixed to the outside of the shell, niii) a nonionic polysaccharide deposition aid that causes the microcapsule to deposit from aqueous dispersion onto a cleaning implement comprising cotton, nb) at least an effective amount of surfactant for cleaning the hard surface; and nc) water. n Also, a hard surface cleaning process comprising the steps of: using a cleaning implement comprising cotton to apply to a hard surface and move around on the hard surface to remove soil from the hard surface an aliquot of aqueous cleaning composition according to the first aspect of the invention, rinsing the cleaning implement in water to remove surfactant and soil from the cotton and leaving the rinsed cotton cleaning implement to dry, whereby after rinsing at least 25 wt% of the microcapsules in the composition applied to the hard surface are deposited onto and retained by the cotton of the cleaning implement. |
