abstract Polyamide molding compound, in particular for railway applications, consisting of: (A) 50-90 wt .-% of a polyamide matrix consisting of (A1) polyamide 12 and optionally (A2) up to 85 wt .-% polyamide elastomer based on polyamide 12; (B) 7-28 wt .-% flame retardant consisting of (B1) at least one metal phosphinate and optionally (B2) up to 40% of a nitrogen-containing synergist and / or at least one nitrogen and phosphorus-containing flame retardant; (C) 3-15% by weight of plasticizer; (D) 0-15% by weight of polyolefin; (E) 0-10% by weight of additives and / or particulate fillers, excluding fibrous reinforcing materials; wherein the sum of (C) and (D) is 3 to 20 wt .-% based on the total molding composition, and wherein the sum of (A) to (E) 100 wt .-% results.
