Temperature-responsive base material, method for producing same, and method for evaluating same |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a temperature-responsive cell culture having the following excellent properties: (1) an object adhered to its surface (e.g., cells) can be more easily detached; and/or (2) a sheet adhered to its surface (e.g., a cell sheet) can be detached with less damage; and/or (3) the substrate has a lower LCST than that of conventional substrates, and is easier to handle. Another object of the invention is to provide (4) a method for evaluating a temperature-responsive substrate for the above properties. The present invention provides a temperature-responsive substrate having on its surface a layer containing at least one polymer, the at least one polymer being responsive to temperature and containing a fluorine-containing monomer-derived unit. |
