The present invention relates to the use of a Prunus spinosa blossom extract as a skin tanning agent. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the cosmetic topical application of a Prunus spinosa blossom extract formulated into a composition comprising a cosmetically acceptable carrier for skin tanning. Finally, the invention relates to the use of a Prunus spinosa blossom extract for enhancement of melanin formation in human skin cells. |
