ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An anti-cancer drug compound comprises an spermidine/spermine N -acetyltransferase substrate. The spermidine/spermine N -acetyltransferase substrate may be a monoamine. The spermidine/spermine N -acetyltransferase substrate may be amantadine, rimantadine, dopamine or L-DOPA.
