Polyhydroxyalkanoate composition exhibiting improved impact resistance at low levels of impact modifier |
abstract |
The present invention relates to impact modifiers in polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA's), including polylactic acid (PLA). The impact modifiers comprise mixtures of a core-shell impact modifier and a glycidyl methacrylate containing ethylene copolymer (GMA copolymer). Improved impact performance is realized at low levels of total impact modifier. |
