abstract |
The invention relates to a sealing material (1), a gas seal (2) made from this sealing material (1) and a method for producing a gas seal (2) from this sealing material (1). The sealing material (1) comprises a bromobutyl elastomer (11) with a share of 100 parts by weight, a filler (12) with a share between 10 and 100 parts by weight for adjusting the volume of the sealing material (1), a hardener (13) a proportion between 0.5 and 3.0 for curing the sealing material (1) and a crosslinking component (14) in a proportion between 0.1 and 2.0 parts by weight for producing a peroxidic crosslinking of the sealing material (1). This sealing material (1) allows a particularly high vacuum tightness (corresponds to a small leak rate) and on the one hand to aggressive gases and on the other hand to pump oils such as perfluoropolyethene oil or silicone oil compared to sealing materials according to the prior art. |
