titleOfInvention Method for producing polyamides by polycondensation
abstract The invention relates to a method for producing polyamides by polycondensing polyamide-forming, polycondensable monomers and/or oligomers in reaction mixtures containing said monomers and/or oligomers, which reaction mixtures can contain water but are free of organic solvents, in which method the polycondensation takes place in a reactor having a mixer while mixing is performed and occurs in the liquid phase in a first step and in the solid phase in a subsequent second step after a phase change occurring in the same reactor during the process, wherein the temperature in the reactor is below the melting point of the polyamide at least in the second step.
