titleOfInvention Pelvic ring implant
abstract The invention relates to an implant (1) for stabilising pelvic ring fractures, comprising a pin (2) for intraosseous implantation, a fixing means, and at least one locking element (3) for fixing pelvic bones relative to the pin, said pin being designed such that it can be fed, intraosseously, through a feed channel that is pre-bored through a sacrum (15), or can be introduced intraosseously into a feed channel that is pre-bored in said sacrum, the pin comprising, at least at its first pin end, a transversal feed-through (4) for receiving the locking element, said locking element comprising an anchoring section (6, 9) by means of which it can be anchored in a pelvic bone (14), as well as a locking section (7) that corresponds to the transversal feed-through of the pin in such a manner that the locking element can be locked at a fixed angle to the pin, said pin being able to be fixed, by means of the fixing means at its second pin end, in a first pelvic bone and/or the sacrum, and said pin being able to be fixed relative to a second pelvic bone by the locking element so as to be secured against rotating and shifting.
