abstract |
The invention relates to a system for automatic adjustment of a pressure specified by a respirator device (10), particularly a positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) and/or a maximum positive airway pressure (Paw_max), the system comprising a pressure detection arrangement for detecting a transpulmonary pressure at the end of an expiration phase (Ptp_ee) and/or for detecting a transpulmonary pressure at the end of an inspiration phase (Ptp_ei), and a device for automatic adjustment of the pressure specified by the respirator device (10) on the basis of the detected transpulmonary pressure at the end of the expiration phase (Ptp_ee) and/or the detected transpulmonary pressure at the end of the inspiration phase (Ptp_ei). |
