A silicoaluminophosphate exhaust gas control catalyst that has a chabazite-type structure, in which ion-exchange sites on the Si have been ion-exchanged with copper, wherein the catalyst satisfies the condition 0.07 ≤ Si/(Si + Al + P) s 0.12 (where, Si/(Si + Al + P) is a molar ratio) and has an amount of ion-exchanged copper of 2 to 4 weight%. |
