abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing asymmetrically formed, star-branched block copolymers which include, based on the branched block copolymer, 60 to 95 wt.% vinyl aromatic and 40 to 5 wt.% of a conjugated diene having 4 to 5 carbon atoms incorporated by polymerisation, by way of sequential anionic polymerisation and subsequent coupling of the formed living block copolymer anions by means of a coupling agent. The invention also relates to vinyl aromatic-diene block copolymers obtained by the method and the use thereof for moulded parts and thermoforming films. |
