Stable long-term method for producing c5-aldehydes |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing aldehydes with five carbon atoms. A feed mixture containing 10 wt.% to 50 wt.% linear butenes and less than 5 wt.% 1-butene is hydroformylated with syngas in the presence of a rhodium and at least one catalyst system comprising bisphosphite ligands. The hydroformylation is carried out in a reactor from which a circulating gas containing at least some of the products and unreacted educts of the hydroformylation is continuously drawn over an operation time period; partially condensed and non-condensed fractions of the circulating gas are fed back into the reactor; and after the operation time period expires, the hydroformylation is interrupted, the reactor is freed of reaction residue, and the hydroformylation is carried out again. The aim of the invention is to design such a method so as to be more economical. This is achieved in that a bisphosphite of the formula (1) and/or (2) is used as the ligand, the operation time period is prolonged to over 8000 hrs, and the removal of solid reaction residue from the reactor is dispensed with during the ongoing operation time period. |
