abstract The prior art discloses dispensers for dispensing pharmaceutical liquids and having a housing (50, 52), having a liquid reservoir, which is arranged within the housing, having an exit opening (24), through which the liquid (14) can be discharged into a surrounding atmosphere, having an outlet channel (22), which connects the liquid reservoir (12) to the exit opening (24), and having an outlet valve (30) which can be opened in a pressure-dependent manner, or can be actuated manually, is arranged in the outlet channel (22) and, with the valve (30) closed, subdivides the outlet channel into a first portion (22a) upstream of the outlet valve (30) and a second portion (22b) downstream of the outlet valve (30). It is proposed that the housing (50) is of antibacterial design in the region of surfaces which are intended to come into contact with the liquid, wherein it is exclusively surfaces in the region of the second portion (22b) and/or in the region of an outer surface (40, 50, 52, 54, 56) of the housing which have this antibacterial design.
