titleOfInvention Method for reconstructing the geometry of a surface of an object via echographic sounding, corresponding computer program and device for ultrasonic sounding
abstract This method of reconstructing the geometry of the surface of an object (102) via echographic sounding, using an ultrasonic sound (106) equipped with a plurality of transducers (1141; 114N), comprises the following steps: controlling the transducers (1141, 114N) such that they transmit towards said surface ultrasonic waves presenting initial transmission delays between them; executing at least once a cycle of steps consisting of receiving intermediate measurement signals (M) from the transducers (1141; 114N), correcting the transmission delays from the transducers using intermediate measurement signals, and controlling the transducers such that they transmit towards said surface ultrasonic waves presenting corrected transmission delays; and receiving from said transducers final measurement signals (M) resulting from the reflection of a wavefront received simultaneously on said surface. Said method additionally comprises steps of determining specular travel time between each transducer and said surface on the basis of the final measurement signals and the corrected transmission delays, and of geometric reconstitution of said surface on the basis of the determined specular travel times.
