Process for the separation of acrolein from the process gas from the heterogeneously catalyzed oxidation of propene |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the separation of acrolein from the process gas of a heterogeneously catalyzed oxidation of propene with atmospheric oxygen, being separated from the process gas by means of quenching high boilers (eg acrylic acid) and then obtained by absorption and subsequent distillation technical acrolein with low Leichtsiederanteilen. In the process, small amounts of a solvent are added to the columns and heat exchangers in the work-up process, with which, in particular, oligomers formed are separated off and a foaming tendency in the apparatuses or columns is reduced. The solvent is separated according to the invention in situ within the existing process in the form of an organic phase in two phase separations and recycled. |
