The invention concerns a device for detecting surface plasmons, characterised in that it comprises a lower wall (10), an upper wall (8), a channel (24) formed by the space between the two walls intended for collecting a fluid for analysis, at least a first metal member (16) arranged on the lower wall (10), and at least a second metal member (22) arranged on the upper wall (8) of said channel, said first metal member (16) and/or said second metal member (22) being capable of adsorbing a chemical or biological species to be detected and being arranged in such a way as to create, between them, under the effect of an excitation light, an optical coupling in order to detect a chemical or biological species adsorbed on said first metal member (16) and/or said second metal member (22), the distance between the first metal member (16) and the second metal member (22) being non-zero in such a way that the fluid for analysis can flow between the first metal member (16) and the second metal member (22). |
