abstract A description is given of a composition suitable for forming a rodenticidal bait in paste, pellet or block form comprising nA) at least one inorganic solidifying agent and modifier of the pH, capable of solidifying in the presence of water, nB) at least one palatable inorganic or organic hydroabsorbent agent; nC) at least one hydrophobic binder, palatable for rodent species; nD) at least one inert filler, nE) at least one palatable substance to increase the palatability of the bait; nF) at least one deterrent bittering agent to prevent accidental ingestions, nand optionally nG) at least one rodenticidal agent, preferably having an anticoagulant action or a peripheral vasoconstricting action; a sedative or a biological derivative able to perform a rodenticidal action, also aimed at only the control of reproduction; or mixtures thereof.
