Aqueous adhesive composition based on polyaldehyde and phloroglucinol |
abstract |
The invention relates to an aqueous adhesive composition comprising at least A) a phenol-aldehyde resin and B) an unsaturated elastomer latex, characterised in that the phenol-aldehyde resin is based on at least an aromatic polyaldehyde carrying at least two aldehyde functions and having at least one aromatic core, and phloroglucinol. Such an adhesive composition can especially be used to adhere a textile material to a cross-linkable rubber composition, and is an advantageous alternative to the use of a formaldehyde-based RFL glue. |
