abstract |
The invention relates to a microcapsule having a light permeability which is reversibly intensifiable by creating a magnetic field, comprising a capsule sleeve in which a light-permeable carrier medium, in particular a light-permeable carrier liquid, and a plurality of magnetic, light-impermeable pigments having an average particle diameter in a range of 0.1 um to 10 um are enclosed. The invention further relates to a security element which is suitable for securing objects of value and has a light-permeability which can be intensified by creating a magnetic field, having a layer which has a plurality of the microcapsules cited above. |
