abstract The invention relates to a device for controlling in an energy-efficient manner a system or part of a system, consisting of a decision logic for evaluating information relating to a structure model of the system to be controlled and at least one mode model of the components housed in the system. Said claimed device for assisting the control device comprises, in particular, means for converting the actual modes and mode transitions currently associated with the components, to the modes of the corresponding mode model. In an advantageous embodiment, said device embodied as a projection tool is completed with graphical representation means which enable the information to be visualized and the inputs, relating to the system which is to be controlled, can be input.
