abstract |
The invention relates to a device for use in the negative pressure therapy of wounds, said device comprising: (a) a covering material for the air-tight sealing of a wound region, (b) optionally, a means of attaching a negative pressure source, and (c) a wound dressing containing (c1) an open-cell foam material that is wetted with an ointment base (c2). The invention also relates to a method for producing a corresponding wound dressing. The invention further relates to the use of an open-cell foam material that is wetted with an ointment base for use as a wound dressing in the negative pressure therapy of wounds. |
