titleOfInvention Functionalization process of cellulosic textile materials (fibres, yarns, fabrics and knitted fabrics) such as:cotton, hemp, flax, ramie, nettle, etc., and different mixtures of such fibres
abstract The functionalization process of cellulosic textile materials is characterised by the fact that in the first stage it is the cationization of the cellulosic material, in two treatment stages, followed by the actual functionalization stage of the cellulosic material, cationized in two treatment stages. The material's cationization is made in two stages. During the first stage, the treatment of the cellulosic textile material takes place in a strong alkaline environment, with solution of NaOH of HM 1:20, followed by washing, until it reaches neutralisation, and then treatment during the second stage, with cationization agent, 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethylammonium chloride of 60% concentration in an alkaline environment, followed by washing, until it reaches neutralisation. The actual functionalization takes place in two stages. During the first stage, there is the reaction between the cationized textile material and the aqueous solution of excess POM, followed by wash of the POM excess. In the second stage, takes place the reaction between POM and Ag and Cu cations, followed by the treatment with the aqueous solution of NaBH 4 in order to obtain Ag and Cu nanoparticles.
