abstract |
[Subject] There is provided an otorhinolaryngological device which enables easy positioning of the expansion body inside the nasal cavity, without need for radioscopy. n [Solution] An otorhinolaryngological treatment device includes: a flexible elongated body 11 to be introduced into a paranasal sinus through a nasal cavity; an expansion body 12 which is provided on the elongated body 11 and has an effective expansive section 12a capable of radial expansive deformation within a natural ostium between the nasal cavity and the paranasal sinus to thereby force open a stenosed part of the natural ostium; and imaging unit 13 for obtaining an image on the front side of a distal end of the elongated body 11, which is provided integrally with the elongated body 11 on the distal side of the elongated body 11 relative to the expansion body 12. |
