abstract |
A sensor (100 for detecting a target of interest (901) comprises an apparatus (101 for binding the target of interest and a draining unit (400) for draining fluid from the apparatus. The apparatus comprises a substrate (110), a material (111) disposed on the substrate, and a probe (113) disposed on the material and configured to bind to the target of interest (901). The sensor further comprises a light source and a light receiver with a detector, wherein the apparatus is located between the light source and the light receiver and configured such that light emitted from the light source is scattered by the target bound to the probe. |
