abstract The invention relates to a resin formulation for stabilizing halogen-containing polymers comprising i) a halogen-containing polymer and ii) a composition for stabilizing halogen-containing polymers comprising a) an hindered amine of polyalkylpiperidine type selected from the group consisting of a1, a2, a3, a4, having the hindered amine a) a pKb lower than or equal to 8.5; b) a zinc compound selected among inorganic Zn oxide, Zn hydroxide, zinc carboxylates or zinc alkolates, wherein the ratio weight by weight of the hindered amine of polyalkylpiperidine type with respect to Zn metal of the compound b) is from 0.30 to 2.25 and the metal present as secondary stabilizer is less than 0.04 phr.
