abstract There is provided a meringue-like foamy aerated processed food product that has a pleasant melt-in-the-mouth texture and high foam stability and can be distributed in a frozen state, a method for producing the aerated processed food product, and a food produced using the aerated processed food product. An aerated processed food product that has a fat content of 5% or less and a viscosity (20°C) of 40 to 150 Pa·s and containsegg white, whey, and a hydrogenated starch hydrolysate derived from a raw sugar having a DE value of 40 or less.
