The present invention relates to a process for coating surfaces by applying an oxidatively drying coating composition comprising at least one oxidatively drying binder and at least one desiccant acting as accelerator for the drying and hardening process proceeding with the action of an oxidant, characterized in that the desiccant comprises at least one oxidoreductase and at least one mediator which undergoes conversion by the at least one oxidoreductase. |
