abstract | The present invention relates to a method for coating a surface of a substrate with a polymer layer by means of electrocatalysed chemical grafting, characterised in that it includes the following steps: a) providing a substrate; b) providing a bath containing at least one radically-polymerisable monomer, at least one cleavable aryl salt, at least one reducing agent and at least one solvent to which a potential difference is applied; c) submerging said substrate in said bath; d) and obtaining a polymer grafted onto the surface of said substrate. The invention also relates to a substrate obtained according to the method for coating by means of electrocatalysed chemical grafting, the surface of which is coated with a polymer layer. |
