abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional porous structure comprising the step of polymerizing at least one polymerizable monomer in a monomer phase of a monomer-in-water high internal phase emulsion in the presence of a polymerization initiator, wherein the at least one polymerizable monomer is at least one polymerizable multicyclic olefin monomer with at least two cycloolefin rings with at least two reactive double bonds and wherein the emulsion comprises a surfactant in the range of 0.1 vol.% to 8 vol.% based on the quantity of the polymerizable monomer in the emulsion. |
