The invention relates to a lithium battery comprising at least one electrochemical cell (1) arranged in a sealed packaging (2). The electrochemical cell (1) consists of a stack (9) comprising a separator (8) arranged between a first and second electrode (3, 4). The separator (8) is impregnated with an ionic liquid electrolyte (5) including a mixture of a conductive salt, vinyl ethylene carbonate, and an ionic liquid having the formula C+A", where C+ is a cation and A" is an anion. The first electrode (3) comprises an electrochemically active material and a polymer binder, said polymer being selected from among polyacrylic acid (PAA) and sulfonated perfluoropolymers. |
