abstract | To provide a method of preparing a lithographic printing plate including the following step (a) and the following step (b): n(a) exposing step of exposing imagewise a lithographic printing plate precursor including a support, a photosensitive layer containing a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer and a protective layer in this order, n(b) developing step of developing the exposed lithographic printing plate precursor with a developer without passing through a heat treatment; n nwherein time passing from termination of the imagewise exposure of the lithographic printing plate precursor to contact of the lithographic printing plate precursor with the developer is less than one minute, as a method of preparing a lithographic printing plate, which is excellent in the halftone dot reproducibility and printing durability and satisfies the consideration for environment and the adaptation for space saving and low running cost, without conducting preheat after the exposure. |
