abstract | The present invention is concerned with plant derived pharmaceutically useful compositions. In particular, it relates to a composition for use in treating and/or preventing a neurodegenerative disorder or disease, wherein said composition comprises extracts of Conium maculatum, Ambra grisea, Petroleum rectificatum, and Anamirta cocculus extracts from the and wherein the composition provides the said extracts in a dosage of at least about 1 ml/kg body weight of the subject to be treated per day. The present invention further relates to said composition for use in improving learning and memory. Contemplated is also a medicament comprising said composition as well as a method for treating and/or preventing a neurodegenerative disorder or disease in a subject suffering therefrom, said method comprises administering in a therapeutically effective amount to the said subject a composition. |
