abstract | The invention relates to the use of alduronic acids and dialdehydes of aldoses and derivatives thereof as tanning promoters for dihydroxyacetone or for a mixture of dihydroxyacetones containing self-tanning substances or self-tanning substances. The invention also relates to the use thereof for modulating colour tones which is achieved during tanning with dihydroxyacetones or with the mixture or preparation containing dihydroxyacetones. The invention also relates to the use thereof as a contrast reducing agent in a mixture or preparation containing at least dihydroxyacetone as a self-tanning substance. It is therefor possible to obtain a visibly improved colour by using said type of compounds. |
