abstract The present invention relates to a device for measuring the light scattering properties of a sample in a liquid medium, wherein the liquid medium is illuminated with the sample in a measuring cell transversely to the filling direction or transverse to the flow direction of the liquid medium in the / of the measuring cell of a laser beam a laser, a cylindrical measuring cell, a first inner diaphragm system, a second outer diaphragm system and at least two detectors, wherein the detectors are arranged outside the second outer diaphragm system, so that they detect the light scattered on the sample in fixed, different angular ranges, characterized in that the first inner diaphragm system and the second outer diaphragm system are circular and concentric around the axis of the measuring cell and arranged. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the device according to the invention for measuring the light scattered on a sample located in a liquid medium and to a corresponding method making use of the device according to the invention.
