abstract |
The invention relates to an infrared radiation (IR)-absorbent polymer composition containing a transparent thermoplastic, an inorganic infrared absorber, and at least one inorganic nanoscale pigment, to the production and use of the polymer compositions according to the invention, and to the products produced therefrom. The invention especially relates to polymer compositions containing a. at least one transparent thermoplastic, b. at least one inorganic IR-absorber from the group of the tungsten compounds in a part of between 0.0075 wt. % and 0.0750 wt.-% calculated as the solid part of tungstate in the whole polymer composition; and c. at least one inorganic, nanoscale pigment in a part of between 0.0005 wt. % and 0.0035 wt. % in relation to the whole composition; and d. optionally other additives. |
