abstract A kitchen sink unit comprises a sink body (2), with at least one basin (3) designed to contain water, a lid (11) articulated to the sink body (2) via a pair of hinges, and a system for servo-displacement of the lid (11) from a position for closing to a position for opening the basin (3). The servo-displacement system comprises a gas spring (14), mounted on a wall (5) of the sink body (2), a pair of cam members (15), each fixed to a respective movable hinge part, a pair of cables (30a, 30b), each connected between the gas spring (14) and a respective cam member (15), and a plurality of transmission members (33a, 33b, 34a, 34b) mounted on a number of adjacent walls of the sink body (2).
